Corgett WRF Aeration Basin & Odor Control

This dome replacement project for the Corgett Water Reclamation Facility in the City of Goodyear, Arizona combined cutting edge aluminum cover design and manufacturing techniques to produce an aluminum cover of the highest quality. This multiple process tank and equipment was completely point cloud imaged with FARO survey equipment to pinpoint the exact locations of the multiple pieces of tank equipment that plant personnel would require access to. After the removal of an old FRP dome by others, a Hallsten overhead truss supported aluminum cover system was delivered and installed to the existing concrete tank walls. As a result, the Owner is able to access the equipment of this multiple process tank more readily and easily from above, without the limitations of the previous series of catwalks and platforms inside an FRP dome.
